Yakuza Kiwami 2 Cabaret Club Cant Continue

Yuki (ユキ, Yuki) is a recurring side character in the Yakuza series. Originally a hostess at Club Sunshine in Yakuza 0, she later returns as the owner of Club Four Shine in Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Profile [ ]

Appearance [ ]

Yuki is a young woman with shoulder-length brown hair and fair complexion.

Attire [ ]

Initially in Yakuza 0, her hostess outfit consists of a white dress and a blue polka-dotted bow with blue heels. For her casual outfit, she wears a beige grid jacket over a shorter white dress, as well as black leggings and silver heels.

In Yakuza Kiwami 2, she wears pink framed glasses and her hair is tied in a side ponytail. She retains the casual white dress and leggings but now wears a pink blazer and blue heels. When she becomes a hostess again, her hair is untied and she wears a blue floral patterned dress over a white corset with silver heels once more.

Personality [ ]

In Yakuza 0, Yuki has difficulty in finding a job, despite the booming economy, as her reserved and honest nature does not lend itself well to job interviews. She came to work at Sunshine because Youda happened to find her alone and dejected at a park, and hired her on the spot; probably out of pity or desperation, as her timid personality and shyness around men are not traits one would typically look for in a hostess.

Yuki has a naive and gullible personality; she describes her ideal man as a typical high-fantasy prince, and believes in the possible existence of cryptids (specifically the Tsuchinoko). Because of this, both Goro Majima and Youda feel protective of her, and often treat her like a child. Despite their concern, Yuki shows throughout her story that she is independent and can make decisions on her own.

Yuki's superiors frequently ignore or insult her in a teasing manner, and she often gets into petty, childlike arguments with Majima. She takes the teasing in stride, however, switching between acting annoyed, laughing it off, or retaliating with her own sassy remark, depending on the situation.

Involvement [ ]

Yakuza 0: 1988-1989 [ ]

Yuki first appears as the Number One girl of Club Sunshine, a cabaret club in Sotenbori, which is later managed by Goro Majima in order to assist in defeating their five rival Cabaret Clubs. Despite being the top girl at the club, Yuki is still new to the business, but grows to become a highly skilled hostess with the help of Majima, the club's owner Youda, and the other hostesses on staff.

Completion of Yuki's training unlocks the substory Paternal Instincts.

1989-2006 [ ]

Over the years, Yuki became a hostess of legendary stature in the business. However, Kanzaki, who was working at Club Sunshine, eventually overthrew her and Youda and forced them out of the club, due to a substantial loan debt he decided to alleviate by forcing out hostesses and buying out their cabaret clubs. Some time before February 2006, Yuki and Youda found Four Shine and recruit Koyuki, but struggle to keep the club afloat as Sunshine closes in on it to control all clubs in Sotenbori, just like the Five Stars from before, while Youda seemingly defects to the Kanzaki Group, making things worse for Yuki.

Yakuza Kiwami 2: 2006 [ ]

In December 2006, Yuki is hiring managers, and happens to come across Kazuma Kiryu, who was mistaken for their candidate at the time, Kiritani. As Kiritani was poached by another club, Kiryu is asked to oversee Four Shine, and he accepts. Within his first shift, Four Shine finally brings in a profit. Kanzaki and his group, looking to finish off Four Shine, forces the club to participate in the Cabaret Club Grand Prix, and Kiryu is officially brought on as shift manager full time. Under Kiryu's leadership, they win the Fresh and Paradise Leagues, winning Kana Momonogi and Aika over from their respective clubs. Despite the Grand Prix restricting Four Shine to 6 hostesses per shift for the Executive League, the club still takes the win and recruits Shoko Takahashi.

When the Millionaire League starts, Koyuki goes missing and Four Shine is forced to continue without her. When they win against Yua Mikami, Koyuki reveals herself to be unharmed, having been asked to hide by none other than Youda, who only pretended to join Kanzaki in order to gather intel on their intentions throughout the Grand Prix; by the time the Millionaire League began, he already knew that Kanzaki was targeting her and suspected that the Grand Prix was being rigged by someone in the Grand Prix staff. Goro Majima makes a sudden appearance, reuniting with Yuki and Youda after 18 years, explaining that he was asked by Youda to help protect Koyuki. He also pinpoints the traitor rigging the Grand prix, which turns out to be Buono Isozaki. When he flees, Yuki is challenged by Kirara Asuka for the title of best club in Sotenbori, while Yua voluntarily joins Four Shine.

While reluctant, Yuki decides to return to hosting once more after some encouragement from Majima and the rest of the hostesses, becoming the lone Diamond-class on the roster while reinstating Youda as Four Shine's general manager. After one final match, Four Shine wins the entire Grand Prix and puts an end to Kanzaki and his group. Yuki makes amends with Kirara and recruits her, and asks Kanzaki why he went so far to control Sotenbori's clubs, lamenting the path that he took. To celebrate the victory, Kiryu and Majima buy a statue of the former, much to Yuki's dismay as Majima had previously done so back at Club Sunshine.

After Kirara's training is complete, Yuki meets up with her father once more to lend him money in a similar manner to 18 years ago. She spots Kiryu and Kirara spying on her, assuring that this was only another opportunity to see her father and pay him back. She becomes distraught when her father calls back to tell her he was conned again out of the money.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon: 2019 [ ]

Yuki can be hired as a manager for Ichiban Confections in the Management mini-game if the DLC Management Mode Set is bought. Yuki and Koyuki, during the time of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, are running a sushi restaurant together, as Four Shine remains in business without them.

Notes [ ]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 Yuki is stated to be 23 in Yakuza 0. This is inconsistent with her stated age of 39 in Yakuza Kiwami 2, which takes place 18 years later.
  2. The given height of 165 cm (5′ 5″) is based on the character model's scaling factor within Yakuza Kiwami 2's data.[3] For Dragon Engine games, this method is believed to be very accurate (±2 cm). However, this is intended as an estimate, not a substitute for an official statistic.
